The International Society for Life Sciences is a non-profit organization of individuals, institutions and corporations. The society is dedicated to the development of life sciences for human welfare and environmental applications. It promotes the international exchange of knowledge in the field of life sciences research and technology.
The society provides a forum to for the discussion of Scientific, Clinical, Social, Legal and Veterinary knowledge on all aspects of Life Sciences. The forum brings together scientists, engineers and managers from a broad range of disciplines with common interests. The primary activities of the ISLS include organizing international / national conferences / symposiums / seminars and workshops, as well as distributing publications.
The society now has members employed by academia, government and industry, from different parts of the world and maintains its head office in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India to coordinate its activities.
